This is a new in-the-package UST Sparkie™ Fire Starter. The Sparkie™ Fire Starter is a unique, patented flint-based fire starter that can be operated with one hand and generates an intense amount of sparks with minimal effort. It measures 3 ⅝” x 1 ⅛” overall when fully opened. It has an orange composition housing with black rubberized insert grips and lanyard hole for easy use and operation. Spark bar measures: 1 ¼”. It can be used one-handed as an emergency fire starter that generates intense, hot sparks with minimal effort. Sparkie is not affected by adverse weather and works even if it gets wet. If wet, simply wipe off excess water and strike as normal. Spark bar can be rotated when worn in one area. This unit is lightweight and compact. You cannot be in a survival situation (or just needing to start a fire) without this tool!!
