This is a Old Timer Middleman Stockman pocket knife in a clam package. The knife is 3 ¼" in length closed. It has a yellow synthetic smooth handle† ‡ – very traditional and classic. The blades are a 7Cr17MoV high carbon stainless steel; the primary blade is a clip point with sheepsfoot and spey point blades. The knife is a slip joint, and it has nickel silver square-end bolsters, brass pins & liners, and thumbnail pulls. There is a Schrade tang stamp (the company that owns Old Timer) and a nickel silver “Old Timer” inlay shield on the handle. This is a very classic stockman frame, with heat treated back springs for greater durability. As far as usability, this stockman can’t be beat.
