The Moose pattern pocket knife features a larger frame with 2 blades, one on each end. The primary is typically a clip point blade, and the secondary is a spear or spey point blade, typically as well. Usually measuring at least 4″ closed; there is a smaller version sometimes.

Some close variations of the moose are the Texas Jack and double-ended balloon knife. Made by such manufacturers as Schrade, Case, Winchester, Remington, and Rough Ryder (to name a few), similar variations to the moose can be found.
